Sanity Check - For Christians
For you and me, we are to give ourselves to the work done by Jesus who is our foundation.  God calls you and me to live in this world as Christians.  And it is our job to be working together with other like-minded Christians.  Can we do that?  It's hard to do in today's world.   But it's never been easy at any time.
So our job is to be like Jesus since He set the example by what He did.  That means we are to copy His way and words and show them through the things we do.  Somes things we do is by how we treat others, especially those who are weaker than we are.  At the same time, we must lean on God to show us how to be Christians in front of others - not lying, cheating, stealing, or saying bad things about others to hurt them.
There are other ways as well to show we are Christians.  But if you and I can be like Jesus, then people will know we are for real.  Some will trust us and listen to our advice. Just think what an encouragement you will be to them!  They will learn even as you are learning.
Because we live in this country, called America, we must help people remember that the United States was built on the Founders' faith in God.  I will show you the proof that many of the Founders believed in a personal God and Jesus just like you and I do.
So try to remember these things which I will put here for you and your friends.  And maybe we will become Reformists by  "rebuilding" America by showing our friends that our country honored God at its beginning.

1st Corinthians 3:10-17:
10(A) According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a(B) foundation, and(C) someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. 11For no one can lay a(D) foundation other(E) than that which is laid,(F) which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— 13(G) each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed(H) by fire, and(I) the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives,(J) he will receive a reward. 15If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved,(K) but only as through fire.   16(L) Do you not know that you[a] are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For(M) God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.  (English Standard Version)

What this means here:
(A) Grace of God; (B) the foundation; (C) others also build and work on it; (D) this is the only real foundation that (E) is being laid that will stand up; (F) and that foundation is Jesus.  (G) the work of each one of us use our talents and God's guidance; and (H) fire - like testing and courage and faith (I) will show if we did enough of the right things to make we and our country survive.  And this is really a personal thing we do for God in our own lives and (J) God will reward you and me according to what we did.  And even if our country doesn't survive, (K) we ourselves will be saved in the end, but only through the testing of our faith. It matters to God we live as Christians.  (L) We are God's temple and He lives within us as Christians.  So if we are harmed by others, God will deal with  them.  (M) Remember, you are holy in God's sight and you are His temple.  That is an awesome thought!
